Victorian Air Rifle Shoot - 14/6/2015

Good news fellow Victorian Airheads.

Havoc and I are pleased to announce that the committee at the Frankston Peninsula Target Rifle Club has granted us permission to have our first forum shoot for 2015. Two more will follow later in the year. Details are as follows.

Date: Sunday 14/6/2015 (so you can enjoy the long weekend )
Time: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Place: FPTRC 650N McClelland Drive, Langwarrin (Opposite Burdetts), Melways 103, D8
Firearms: Maximum 0.22 cal
Cost: $20 per Visitor, $5 Members

There will be free hot beverages & biscuits with cold drinks & confectionery at club prices. NO Alcohol on site please.

There will be 20 & 50m comps for the day with prizes. I will also attempt to organise a Sponsor to be there to show and tell, and for us to touch and feel.

Come and chew the fat with fellow Airgunners. Share your experiences, successes and commiserations.

Please PM either Havoc or myself so we can get an idea of numbers. See you there.

There's a heap of them. Just not on this forum. Our Youth Training Scheme had many young shooters who competed a high levels.

Maybe consider a note on the Springvale notice board.

I have about 20+ responses from another spot on the Interweb. Just thought I'd share the Lurve around.

I know a few of the lads, James and his friends have never been to one of t our shoots as it pretty much always clash with their Sunday comps.

Some prizes arrived in the post this morning. Generously donated by John Hodson of Tasco.

The comps that we'll run will be 50m PCP and 20m Springer.

A reminder that we're kicking off at 12:00 noon and all comp cards must be in by 3:30pm so that we can all have time with our families afterwards.
