When is the July shoot? Tried to get to the one earlier this year but wasn't to be. Want to bring the R9 down and have some fun.

Ryan
I've just locked in Sat 18th July from 12pm - 5pm for the July shoot.

More details to follow in it's own post

Geoff,

When did Weihrauch change from the 25 to 26mm piston?

They changed around the mid nineties give or take a few years.
Can be determined by looking at the serial number although there is a bit of contention over the correct number.
Chambers show the cutoff point as 1301036 for the HW77
Other sites say it was after 1440000.

You could conclude that if less than 1300000 then it would likely be 25mm and after 1440000 more likely to be 26mm.
In the middle, it'd be advisable to get the calipers out.

Here is the reference list for Weihrauch serial numbers versus date of manufacture, as well as key changes in the manufacturing process. Sources from the Weihrauch Owners Club Forum and BBS Forum, then combined and correlated to other sources. It's as accurate as I can get it. Hope it's useful.
