Looks good.
I put a couple of cross bars in mine to act as stirrers, it made the cases tumble better with slower barrel speeds. A squirt of detergent, teaspoon of citric acid with the water and stainless pins and cases come out shiney.

walnut . but why with wet tumbling you get clean primer pockets and inside cases as well

never seen one of these but have seen pics of cases that come out black and grey

just wondered if that's how they work of did the users do something wrong .

ive been thinking about this.
i saw on youtube one guy used "grits" that american food stuff.
polished the cases fairly well.
so it stands to reason:cracked corn,rolled oats or maybe [maybe] kitty litter would work pretty well.
cracked corn might be a bit harsh and im thinking kitty litter might pulverise into powder,but i think both should work.
rolled oats being finer and softer should make for a pretty smooth polisher.

thaughts ?

on a forum (can't remember which one) there was pics of the cases all dark grey and some near black , i have no idea what he had in his sonic cleaner so i just though they all did it and then you had to dry tumble to clean that off as well .

i used to use walnut shells all crushed up but after it all had rounded edges it wasn't much good
same as the corncob once the green coating was gone so was performance .

i get ya...i used some recipes from this forum and had pretty and shiny cases,inside and out.
but i have some cases that are really bad,so needing a tumble.
the recipe for the sonic i used last was 1 teaspoon of citric,1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar and 20mls of lemon juice.
that with the cleaner full of water.
i was hoping to clean the graphite powder of the cases with it [cause i was too lazy to do it]
it didnt work.
but those cases are the shiniest ones ive got.
ive seen some nifty,costless tumblers on youtube, so i am going to make the piss easiest one i can.
which is why im asking about media and what [costing sfa] can be used.

the walnut cost me sfa because i had a mate that ate about 10 to 15 walnuts a day so it didn't take long to accumulate a heap.

the PITA bit was crushing and sifting it all to the right size ... the things you do when you don't have any
