Re: scope choices
No sorry they don't..... I missed that bit of the post sorry , I wasn't trying to be a smart-ass. Need to reed thread from start
The Z5 5-25 x50 is around the $ 2090.00 Mark...... its bloody though deciding what way to go with what little disposable funds one may have, even wore as the bloody dollar takes a dive.
I'm trying to pull enough together to get the Z3 4-12 for the Vartarg.
All the best for your search.

Re: scope choices
While not related to scopes, did you see this SSAA special? This is much less than RRP for either one (depending on where you shop).Branxhunter wrote:trevort wrote:do they have a 20 power under a grand?Flip wrote:Have you looked at the Z3 Swarovski 4 -12 x 50 or the Z5's. with the ballistic turret. I use the P7's and they are pretty good, even if it's only 4xAAA's (which last me an average of a week camping).

Re: scope choices
Swarovski Z5. Either the 3.5-18x44 or the 5-25x44. With the Ballistic Turret.
Not much change from $2k though.
Bushnell does a 3-21 tacticool scope that can be bought with a Zero Stop, they can be bought for under $1500, but IMHO their value point is just under $1k.

Re: scope choices
Trev,
I run the hd5-25 x 50 target turrets and a varmint reticle.
Gives me hold overs for spotlighting or quick shots and the ability to click when I have the time.
Happy for you to have a play with it if you want to meet up at one of the locals.

Re: scope choices
I have 5 or 6 of the standard Vortex Vipers and they are good, repeatable clicks and decent glass. I haven't tried the PST but they should have better glass.Branxhunter wrote:I don't know what these Vortex Vipers are like:
