Your order has been cancelled. Sorry, but we cannot ship bullets, brass, stocks or optics overseas. We can ship a lot of other things, but not these! Sorry!

Apparently they all fall into the category of " illegal ", and by that i mean, "too hard".
To a point i can understand, its alot of stuffing around for them without a huge amount of benefit. Just a bit dissapointed because ive had a pretty good run with LS&B up until now.

The US State Department can be a real prick to deal with andto get an export licence, but once your on it, it's fine.

They are just making a business decision based on time involved versus profit per order. Take into account thatthey may also do business with the US Gov't which I know precludes some of them from jeopardising business by dealing overseas -which isn't surprising considering how much money they can make from a Gov't contract.

Here is an eBay Seller who exports worldwide. Great range of products and pretty good prices, well worth checking out - have bought from them and can recommend.

Grimo- whats the projectiles you want??
there is an aussie custom projectile make that has 17 cal in his range

His pricing is well below what factory made projectiles come out at.

I'll find his number- I have it somewhere here on the bench- insert frantic looking emoticon

name is Charlie of CDC projectiles and he;s in Qld

only thing is he doesn't make plastic tip projectiles if thats what you want.

He made me some .224 60 FBHP with a very long point profle with a BC well over .3 and they shoot much better than I can out of my .223.

heard good things about DNR sports as well but never used them myself

GriMo, if you are after 17 cal projies, maybe I can help.
i have hundreds of 20 grain V-Max, and some 20 and 30 grain Bergers (which Peter van Meurs carries) , so if you want some, PM me.
I believe that Pete may have a line of projies of his own, but check with him first.

We ship all over the world and specific countries do need an export license before shipping to that country. Australia is not one of those countries that require the export license with the Department of Commerce. There is no regulation saying that it is illegal to ship a scope overseas. If you just follow the DOC's rules there are no problems. I think that some companies just state that it is illegal to ship out to countries so they do not have to hassle with the export license policy and to eliminated the fraud potential that is going on.
