Hi Guys
My sons Diana Mod 34 has lost its oomph. I am not sure if the barrel seal has just become hard and compressed with time or if the Piston seal has gone or both. The spring shows no sign of weakness.
I have had the seals posted to me and now I need to disassemble the rifle so that I can replace the parts and not damage the rifle while doing so.
I can find a parts diagram on the net but no information on the correct sequence to disassemble the rifle.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
Regards Dutchy

The main traps for the unwary will be the rear safety slide - it doesn't need to be removed prior to disassembly but you need to use a block of wood or similar as a spacer so as not to push on it with the spring compressor, as it will break!
The other is the plastic sleeve around the trigger group block, if it has one - you need to be careful not to foul this on the end of the cylinder on reassembly as it too can break. And it needs to line up so as to be able to get the trigger block retaining pins back in.
