22/250 loads

Just wondering what loads you all get for best results in the 22/250. Ive a rem700 andit seems to like 52gr sierra seconds with 33gr 0f 2206, and the same amount of powder for 55gr nosler shots. I am interested in trying some other loads but dont want to spent a fortune on projectiles.

Hey matey, just scroll down the reloading section a bit and you'll see another post on 22-250 loads. Most people it seems prefer 2208 over the 06 that ur using, but I guess it all comes down to what your rifle likes.

all the 22-250's I have had a play with (4 I think) have had a liking for Winchester 748 for most projectiles from 40gn up to 53gn and Win760 for 55gn.
Measurably tighter groups than with ADI 2208.

Unfortunatly it's been a bit hard to get lately.

The best shooting in my 112BVSS was a 53gn flat base bench pill over 36gn of 748. 3/8" at 100yrd and backed it up with 3/4 at 200yrd. 0.375 MOA.
