ExtraVision have announced today, that they will continue to sponsor the 2015 International 1000yd BR Postal Matches.
Thankyou to Goran and Klaus at ExtraVision for their continuing support of this unique International Long Range Precision Shooting competition.
It is a pleasure to be involved and associated with such generous, non-demanding and genuine sponsors such as ExtraVision and BJD.
For those who may be interested in participating in the 2015 Postal Matches, entry is free, all that is required is that you attend any NRAA range which offers 1000yd BR, enter either the Light Gun or Heavy Gun Classes (or both), shoot in accordance with the IBS Rules, and then ensure the club sends your results to dg1048@yahoo.com.au.
We have our dates set for next year- already have to do something about the first fixture as the army have taken the range booking that weekend. Just hope I can get everyone into shooting on paper instead of electronics like they want.
Great news, and well done on your part. One day I might actually win something. Townsville will be shooting 1st Sat of each month, and we should have 600yd BR going this year too, SSR's are in, waiting to hear if they are accepted.
yeah, no doubt about you blokes up north, to finally get 600yd BR established is a very positive move for australian LRBR. well done to all concerned for your patience and initiative
and brad
likewise, what you and your club has achieved in such a short time is also a remarkable achievement in itself
looking forward to including more western australian results in the postals !!!!
Extravision have been great sponsors for shooting events for a while now, one of the few businesses who really look after us. I have a few hunting scopes and spotting scopes from them which go well.
Dave G, did you see my roster and put shoots on every time I am working for a reason
despite my numerous protests, the powers at large in the club, consulted their crystal balls (really, quite a contortionary effort on their parts and part) to come up with the 2015 match dates.
seriously, though we were hoping you and the new HG as well as others from the hunter valley might make a few matches this year
on other matters, in recognition of their outstanding efforts during the 2014 Extravision 1000yd BR International Postal Match Competition, as 1st place prizes, both Anthony and Grant both received Vortex Diamond Back 20-60x60 Angled Spotting scopes, valued at $740RRP.
Congrats to the 1000yd. postal winners. Also a big THANKS to Dave for the time and effort he puts in for the rest of us. Looking foreward to the 1000yd at Narromine again this year. It will be great to shoot the 600yd B/R at 600yds. instead of 500m.
Good shooting to all this year.

Good to see 600yd BR get going. There are so many clubs who can fit in a 600yd BR competition compared to 1000yds so I hope more clubs get it going.

Wednesday afternoons would be good for me and a few others I know of in the area who work weekends. I would have to check in with some others to see what can be organised with range use, range officers, interested people etc.
