I got my Spectre barreled action back from the gunsmith so i thought i would post a few pics before it goes off to be cerakoted.

The barrel is going to be ceraktoed black so it looks better.

I'm happy with it, the only possible change I could have made was the barrel profile as its a little heavy to carry around.
I sold a 223 and 223ai when this action arrived, so I haven't shot a 223 in a while. The model 70 223 I sold was one of the most used rifles I had. Easy to shoot and very accurate, you can't ask to much more than that.
Haha yep, weight sucks when you want to take it out in the field. I was using a KRG chassis, but it made the rifle to heavy. It now had a McMillan HTG and couldn't be happier. Mine had a rem varmint profile, if I was to do again it would be lighter!
The 223 is very under rated in fast twist. They are real nice!

It is pretty run of the mill but that's because i want to use it with NV and i cant go loosing expensive or prepped brass in the dark mate. The NV mount is in customs so its not long for that now.
