Projy,

that thing looks bloody deadly :D Though I don't go much on the plastic looking bolt knob.

308 on bunnies...hell yeah bigger the mess the better isn't it I wouldn't lug it about ...just set up a few hundred yards from a warren and pop the buggers off as they appear :lol:

to tell you the truth, ive never shot it any closer than 300, thats the starting distance, i would think all head shots at that distance, if you could claim it, being messy and all. wouldn't be much left. lol

G'day again projy, what projies (pardon the pun, please) are you going to run for the bunnies? Sierra 155MKs? Should work just fine...

it will be a while off before i think about taking it in a paddock for a test drive, still picking out a scope.
but at the moment, i run a 155grn seirra game king with 45.7 grains of 2208 which is that standard load for the victoiran rifle team in target rifle, that seems to get them down range quiet accurately.
i will be making a custom rifle, similiar, maybe 308 or 338lapua magnum. want to be able to comfortabley hit a dear at 1000yrds on a plain. just for fun
