Re: Anyone have an open export licence with McMillan?
Tex,
To be honest, i made a decision to stop importing McMillan for people i didn't know about 4 months ago as i didn't have the time and it didn't really matter as they could order direct. Now that McMillan have gone down the permit path i can see myself doing some more again but this time i will be looking more at order it yourself and then get it sent to me for a small fee as it will cut down on my workload and save me having to charge gst on stocks, it will just be gst on the fee.
I'm sure ASIO are watching, as with all other firearm dealers.

Yeah mate- there's certainly a demand for them and I can't see anyone having an issue with you covering your costs.
I can see you being a busy man.
Tex.
Psst- they are always watching.

Sounds like a good plan Seddo. That way the customer carries all of the risk of stuffing up or cancelling the order, and they can hassle McM directly when they get impatient waiting for their stock.Seddo wrote:Tex,

HSS came through for me, only $50 for handling and postage from them to me in WA which I thought was very fair. Probably would have used Seddo if I hadn't already spoken to HSS since he is on the forum.
Not over the moon with how this marbling colour combo came out buts it growing on me.

I reckon that looks pretty good. I think it's unusual but it's quite appealing and distinctive. I've definitely seen a lot worse!tripledeuce wrote:........Not over the moon with how this marbling colour combo came out buts it growing on me...........
