SA Feral Shooter,
That's a bastard - I know what it feels like to be waiting for a rifle
If you do go down the path of getting a smith to tidy up the crown, I've the contact details of a brilliant bloke here in SA.
PM me if interested.
Good luck!

To my mind sa feral shooter
If it's not right, send it back.
Life's too short to get something that is less than perfect.
You want to make sure you get what you paid for.

Re: Oh no , not the crown.
Beretta will look after you no worries at all, just a PITA that it has to happen in the first place. Sako need to lift their game a bit I feel especially after seeing all the ejection issues that are coming out regarding some of the 85's.
I've got a mate who sent back 2 Sakos (Brand New and bought weeks apart) both had fooked barrels, he also has had ejection issues with some of his 85's but did some sort of mod to fix them.
