Most of you blokes would have seen this, but the link below is for the write up I did after shooting Field Target with Greyskull in NZ.

viewtopic.php?f=24&t=17998

I can confirm it is really good fun, and as challenging as the targets you set!

Curan I read that post when you posted it I wanted to go get the R9 out straight away

It does look like both fun and pain all in one

Gary I could do some targets up in cad, silhouette outlines with orange centres, at least some practice paper targets could be printed in pdf and be pretty accurate.

Animals well plenty to pick from

Mynahs, rabbits, crow, rat etc.

Get the next assignment sorted, then have a quick look, maybe bimbo's profile cutter can cut from CAD, many do these days.

Okay Gary, I have a early xmas pressie for you.......

I wasn't saying anything until I got home and found them, which I have now, so..........

I have two mechanisms for FT targets. They are identical and both operate on the "over-centre linkage" principal. All they need is the animal template screwed on front, and a base board attached. They are a good design, and also settable for sensitivity via a screw in the back. I figure you can have them, copy as required and maybe one day in the future pass one on for another club to start up.

They were a gift to me from Chris (Chris L on this forum) a while back, and I have others that the juniors at our club can use for fun , but we don't really have a range that fits a full FT comp. So these are spare. I know Chris would approve of helping another FT comp crank up, as he loved FT, so this fits.

I have already grabbed a post pack this morning, so if you send me your address via pm, I'll get them to you in the mail. No cost, just put them to good use.

cheers, curan

Keep an eye on the letterbox around Friday Gary. They were dropped in the mail just on lunchtime today, so they might make it by then (with luck).
