Thinking of going -0.020" for my walk around fox gun.
I am really thinking about a 204 ruger in a Howa for my walk around fox/spotlighting gun. For something different and to see if you blokes know what you are on about and it is as good as you's make out.
Was thinking of running 32gr Vmax in as it won't be a long range gun by any stretch of the imagination, I'll be setting this up for the cartridges max PBR with its sole purpose is to smack foxes exactly where I put the crosshairs.
Was going to go a 223 but I already have one and love it but why not add another cartridge to the collection?

And all that just goes to prove that there is still enough room at the top of the ladder for you mob of Neanderthals to evolve and join us at the dizzy heights we have reached.
don't be ordinary Keith, go for something with a bit of "Get up and Go" you should be aiming for 4200fps or more

I might be just about hooked on a 5mm/35 SMc!
Is there some support group for this 20cal affliction?

Does that mean Keith has some bargains available. I can see the ad on amused guns now...only missed one fox, near new.

Don`t be ridiculous Keith why would you need a 20 Cal.
A 223 will do everything a 204 will only better.

Kieth, as many have said before the Howa shoots above its price. As a hunting rifle ours is only limited by the guys squeezing the trigger. See the target in my thread that was shot by No 1 son with minimal load work and he rarely comes out for a practice at paper.
At least you will know it is the shooter and not the rifle if you miss.

Who says I need one? A 223 would work perfectly well for what I want it for but why not add another cal to the collection.. besides this way I can see what all the hype is about with these 20calsMISSED wrote:Don`t be ridiculous Keith why would you need a 20 Cal.
