Re: sightron scope reticle
I have a an S111 6-24x50 LRMD on my 20 PPC
The reticle is very good at night and pretty handy during the day as well.
I think for daytime use the MOA2 is better choice BUT I have not used one at night.

Re: sightron scope reticle
Sorry Macka, don't know anything about the scopes you mention, I have looked through Missed's but cant remember what it was like, it was sleeting at the time and I could see a fox at about 150 or so, that's all.

Re: sightron scope reticle
I have the MOA2 on my 7mm rem mag and love it but have never tried it at night. I reckon that it may be too fine - I am pretty sure Glenn said that had used one at night.

You should be nearly right with an assortment like that Macka, don't worry about the waffle, sure beats the shit out of not saying anything.

Re: sightron scope reticle
Just re-read you list there Macka, there are a couple of noticeable discrepancies there. wonder if anyone else noticed the lack of a 20 cal and 17 cal.

Re: sightron scope reticle
I dont have 17 or 20 cal at the moment because of lack of room and over 15 i need a security alarm victorian firearms regs but i have had 17 ackly.17-mach iv now a 223 .17 222,and 17 rem and a 17ppc over the years. Had first option on a custom 204 but had to pass let a mate have it and it makes him look like a good shot top calibre. Foxes are my main target where i live.
With the 6mm SLR i havnt done any load development yet got the barrel off my mate when i got rifle off him loaded ammo as well but i think the 70 grainers are A MAX ? and 100 grainers are copperheads ?.Will load in next month or two once health picks up as i do a bit of permit work for farmers

Re: sightron scope reticle
Have thought of a 204 build but after looking through the forums I see there are a few more options available in 20 cal well worth considering .I think now we are very lucky with the choice of calibers quality projectiles and brass available now
