Just a follow up to my original rant , 4 weeks later powder turned up 1/2kg $70or 1kg $139 !

thats terrible, i think the last lot cost me $55-60 per 500g.

Back on the lgs rant , went there on Wednesday to pick up some ammo boxes paid $30 for 2x 50 and 1x100 box for the 204 that didn't bother me . Asked what they had in the way of 22's , looked at a t bolt liked it , looked at a savage laminated not too bad , then they had a Cz 452 or 453 American looked nice, felt great and bugger me the left side of the stock between the receiver and pistol grip was dinged and scratched to the shithouse ! Like properly carnaged , I don't usually buy timber stocks but I've never managed too ruin a stock as well as the one they had on display
