Re: Homemade Annealing Machine
Also interested re the pricing on these kits ! Will make annealing a darn sight more lazy than doing the whole cordless screwdriver & deep socket gig...adamjp wrote:The intention is to have an aluminium backing plate and the machined bits available as a kit.BP72 wrote:Bloody brilliant ! No auto feed was the downfall of all the prototypes on YouTube . So the question is how much are you gunna build them for ? Ausvarmint discount?
You buy the motor and PWM I linked earlier and it will bolt straight in. Some speaker wire, a little soldering, a 12v plugpack and your gas torch will see you sorted.
Not sure what is going to happen with the Fat Daddios tins, probably easiest to supply them as part of the kit and you just need to slot them (already drilled for holes and parted off at 32mm deep).
I'll get back to you. Wait out.

Very nice little gadget there! I have never looked at annealing, only doing .223s and neck sizing. Does it make much difference to sizing?

Re: Homemade Annealing Machine
Great little modification, the best of two designs combined.
Do you need to use different width tins for long and short cases?
I went with a more conventional style as it suited the bits and pieces I had lying around. Yours has some advantages. Bruce

Nice bruce! I ordered some gear for one today so will see how I go, won't be as shit hot as Adams but hoping it does the job as will be for smaller batches of brass.
