knackers,
FMD do you know that 500 is 200 longer than 300

Yes mate I had noticed that ... its only nearly twice as far you big girl. Wait till you get to a 1000yd match now thats a long step.

If you ever get the chance pick a spot on a staight road and drive 500m by the odometer then get out and look back at the sign you used as a start marker .. then get in the car and do another 500m and have a look back at 1000 .. its an awesome sight.

The 52 smk are ok .. I have shot a Fly match with a 220 swift (factory Rem VS I think it was) I think from memory I used 55 flat base SP's just be careful with the points. I did not win but its still fun. Load'em up and have a bit of fun.

cheers

Gidday Fellas, I was rosstered on at Silverdale yesterday, and I have to say, I'm a little worried. Two seriously, experienced shooters were working up loads for the Pro Cal Fly. One guy, working up loads for a 30 cal BRX, looked very serious indeed, the other guy working on loads for very accurate 6mm, shooting 105gns, looked like trouble.
I say we ban shooters that don't smile or laugh at a joke.
These guys can only be troublesome at our shoots.
I think an introductory joke at the shoot for new comers should be compulsorily.
What do you guys reckon??????????

G'day Malcom,

Hmmmmm, do you mean a little bloke with a german accent and a solid dude with slicked back hair ??????

If it's the fellas I am thinking of.... theres no disputing they take their shooting seriously, but jokes shouldn't be a problem with the ones I know.

Kenny, the two were Steve and a benchrest shooter named Stan. Stan was testing a 30 cal BRX. Karl wasn't there. Karl shoots his own wildcats based on the WSM and WSSM cases.
My rifle is a boring ol' 7mm/08 Imp---it's not the biggest, but it is the prettiest
See you guys at Canberra.

Malcolm and Steven,

Ohhhh...the 30 cal had me thinking it was Karl, but if he was at Coffs I have again 'missed an opportunity to succeed' I new it was Steve by the 6mm comment, plus they travel together to fly shoots...didn't know Stan had a 30 cal but.....

Steven is talking about a different Malcolm we know with a 30 cal :D

They are good blokes...we shoot with them in comp all the time.
