Yes synthetic stocks look dull and boring, but I prefer using them.

Wood stock is not an option at the moment but the bloke I spoke to said they are currently looking into it and it just depends on if the marketing guys think the numbers are there to make it worth while - I think he said that had been talking with Boyds. It makes the rifle a it heavier but I reckon the balance was better than the plastic stock - but I like a rifle that is a bit heavier too.

Chapo, I have to be honest mate, I would be very disappointed in that group at 50yds from a rimfire the cost nearly 1k.
I hope you can get it sorted & it ends up a fine a shooter, but that group at 50yds does not impress. Sorry

Sitting post is not a discipline to show the potential of ones rifle and it would be unfair to gauge the rifles ability based on something Chappo has more influence in than either the rifle or the one brand of ammo he tried. I do not know chappo or his ability but he said thats a reasonable target for him and that the rifle was on par with a cz which as I am sure you would know shoots better than that off a bench rest. It must be looked at in perspective.

Johno, that's a field rifle target shot in the standing post position, not off a bench. That's pretty good shooting there IMHO.

Ill be a bit un-Aussie and say I reckon it looks pretty crappy from my point of view, but we all have our own favourites and mine is Brno/CZ, probably a leftover from a misspent youth. Id have to have a fondle of one to make a final opinion, but it seems to shoot alright. Wouldn't even consider buying one with all the plastic hanging off it.
