22/250 twist rate.

Post by kickinback »

I was moving some crap around in the shed and came across a Pac Nor 22 cal barrel that I had forgotten about.

I am considering chambering it in 22/250 BUT it is a 1-16 twist. Do you consider this twist rate too slow?

Thanks

Glen

Might make a 22/300WSM. It's a big fat straight taper bastard barrel so they would match well.

$1000 for a nearly a virgin stiller action to screw on to your barrel. You don't need to worry about high pressure loads cratering your primers as the pin has bushed already

I already made you a generous offer on that action Trev. I appreciate the work that has gone into it but my original offer stands.

If it is a true 1:16 then it will work with 40gners,is it a centrefire barrel?

You could do a 22BR for 40gr's at 4K!

If you were Gary you could do 22 SLR!
