Hey Knackers, I don't pay anything for WMR ammo, cause I wouldn't own one again, reckon they are useless.

Got a spare barrel in WMR for my M77 Ruger, its shorter and lighter than the HMR barrel and for economic reasons l'd rather my son waste WMR than HMR's

Hi Knackers,
My 1894m likes the 50 grain Federal Gameshok at about $22.00 a box of 50.
Hope that helps.......

Thanks curan, suppose I can bank on $20 a box for cheap stuff, as long as it's minute of rabbit @ 50, that will do.
Re: what's everyone paying for WMR ammo?
I bought Winchester power points for about $19 a box, theses were the copper clad hollow point projectiles not jacketed.

So what are you paying for HMR, the last lot I got worked out at 16.00 per 50, but I did buy a brick. Haven't brought single boxes for years now. Would 22 mag be cheaper than that if they were brought by the brick ?
Re: what's everyone paying for WMR ammo?
If it helps, last brick of hmr I bought last year worked out at $18 per 50, much better than the local blokes $27 per 50. In comparison the $19 for 50 WMR power points was from the local bloke and I reckon by the brick would be much cheaper.

Re: what's everyone paying for WMR ammo?
This is mostly for the young bloke to use. Last time I bought a box of HMR they were $27 and that was about three years ago and WMR would have been a couple of years before that. I'm nearly out of everything except .22's and 12g crackers, got bag's of them.

Re: what's everyone paying for WMR ammo?
Well I grabbed a pack of Hornady 17g HMR @ $25 a pk, the only WMR ammo was Remington @ $25, the same as the HMR stuff. So for that price I'll go with the Hummer.
