Your gonna need to get a 17 rem or a 17 HH. with the 17 Hornet you can hardly find the entry and they stay in side pritty well.

The 17 Hornet sounds the go, I wish I had the money mate, I'd definitely go something like a 17 for rolling foxes, just can't afford shite at the moment!

Hi polly,
Have you tried either of the 32 vmax or zmax? Or Sierra 32s.
You might have some issues with your T3 using the 40g vmax, then again you might not.
As someone as already suggested, get some and try before you buy.
I have tried them in a sako 204 with 1/12 twist and couldn't get any decent groupings, but you might be lucky.
If your looking for a few to try, I have some on hand as well as the 40gr noslers and Bergers.
I have been having reasonable success with the 35g Berger in my 204. Shoots very consistent groups and doesn't make huge exit holes from what I have found.
Used to use the 39g Sierra but was finding I had runners so swapped over to the 35s. In my rifle, the 35's shoot better than the 39's.
Just for interest sake give some of the zmaxs a try. I'm using them in my vt and can't see the difference between them and the vmax.
Plus there cheaper than the vmax.
Regards

Have a look at zmax's cheap as and shoot like stink. I did a topic recently of my cz527 group working up a load with 32gr zmax's . When my supply of sbk's are gone I know what I'm gunna use

Dunno about the t3 , but my Cz hated 40 gr vmax , loves everything else Barnes , zmax, sbk so I'd reckon its trial and error

Trial & error, polly
But that's part of the journey IMO.
Good luck with it

All are 1 in 12. It is trial and error. A 1 in 12 should stabilise the 40 vm or nbt but some factory rifles might be 1 in 12 and a poopteenth. So we get the issue that some work and some don't and you won't know until you try. The factory rugger vt I had shot tiny groups with the 39s but an inch was best result for the 40 vm and nbt no matter how much powder I stuffed in!
