ok people iv been lookn at the cz in a thumbhole 17hmr varmit any info would be great on pros and cons,
iv also been offered a 2nd hand ruger 17hmr grey varmit [ little use no marks ] 3x9 bushnell elite , hard case and a cpl hundred rds with it for 900 neg any info on this package and any pros and cons would be great reguards the ruger would be appriated

I have a CZ 453 17HMR in a Boyds stock, really good little rifle, pity it doesn't get much use as I brought it as a hare rifle and there aren't enough around to bother carrying it in the ute. Nice accurate rifle, with the famous Brno/CZ reliability. the 453 is the set trigger model. I haven't really rung it out yet as I have only put around 150 shots through it. If you are wanting to get one, I could be persuaded to part company with it.

Great little rifle, very accurate
But doesn't get used much since I built the 20vt

iv got a heavy barreled 222 and a med weight barrel in 22-250 which I used for roo shootn [ chillers im still accred ]for yrs and enjoy ,but im after something to tinker around with for fun on rabbits fox cat etc
but in sayn all that the .204 sounds the goods also
any info on the ruger please good or bad please as he stil has it

either of those rifles are good quality if they are what you want in a cartridge and barrel weight. See what negotiation you can do on the ruger. Offer $700 and take it if he says yes!

I've had a 452 varmint CZ and l currently own a m77 s/s boat paddle, both hummers and as Trevort said both are good rifles.
