A bit more info for you guys. I found out yesterday that no LGS in Katherine stocks any form of reloading stuff. No projies, powder, cases or primers.

So ensure you bring enough bang with you to get you through. I will have a couple of powders here you guys can use, but they will be limited to what I use in my rifles. Mainly 2208 and 2205, I will have a slower powder once I settle on a powder for the 300.

cheers

How many rounds are you thinking will be needed? It would be fantastic to think 5kg flight allowance won't be enough....but somehow, I think it will be just fine

Some days I go out I shoot 5 rounds for the day, other days I have shot 40 rounds. It's all dependent on the day. But I would hate to be out of bang at the end of day 2 ;)

Now I'm really getting excited!!

Last trip up (Just pigs) I had plenty left from 100 rounds after 5 days hunting!! From memory, I think 150ish .338WM 225gn'ers still comes in under 5kg!

It will be handy for all the blokes using push feed actions to knock fired cases out when their pissy little extractors fail :stir:

Oh, okay.

I have been working out west in a cave, so I miss most stuff.
