Bloke out my way has one in 223, he has shot more cats with it than anyone I know. Many people would be familiar with his work as he was the bloke who originally started the cat tree just outside of William creek. FWIW he loves the browning as it gives hime fast follow ups when he finds cats in pairs or with kittens3potscreamer wrote:Has anyone had experience with the browning BLR. Pprobably as good as any that are available these days that are based on the Winchester 92 action, feed it what it likes and you should have no problems. My personal preference would be for a Marlin 1984, they are a very nice bit of gear. Mainly like it that it uses side ejection and has the ejection port covered when the bolt is closed.
