Re: 17 Fire Ball
If it was me, for the price I wouldn't be to concerned with the stock.
I would be buying for the action only and at that price is probably reasonable, that is without seeing it.

Re: 17 Fire Ball
So, where do we place an order for a pierce action at $1100-
I wouldn't mind one of those at that price.
But is that for the single shot action of repeater?

Re: 17 Fire Ball
Oh, and if I had the money I would buy a sako but couldn't afford one so went with the Kimber.
Just saying, the Kimber is feeding the shorter vartarg case through what was originally a 204 with no problems at this stage.p

Re: 17 Fire Ball
Teepee I stand corrected,$1250 so it would be around $300 more,my bad
Re: 17 Fire Ball
Yeah but say you wanna do it right, and the action might need a bit truing up, and a bit of crap like that, pretty sure that $300 would even up soon wouldn't you think, maybe even swing the way of the custom being better value for money.chris.tyne wrote:Teepee I stand corrected,$1250 so it would be around $300 more,my bad

Re: 17 Fire Ball
Could always do a BAT SV right bolt left port single shot 17 Fireball!
24 inch medium weight barrel, Jewel trigger and a nice AAA walnut stock!
Put smallish 6.5x20x50 SIII Sightron on it and you have a very nice little fox gun!
We need to talk Chris!
