They look very nasty and lethal. They probably also violate a few UN conventions.
They would certainly fragment and splinter on impact and probably not the kind of wound/s that a surgeon would want to spend hours upon removing the many fragments. No doubt they would also fragment to such extent that it would be impossible for a surgeon to successfully remove all of it.

They look very nasty. I've seen the you tube vid and then do a lot of damage but no more then a 12g with no4 or no7

Have seen a couple of videos on their performance, going through a balloon was quite spectacular, in slow motion you could see them break up on impact and little shards coming out the other side. The shots into ballistic gel are also quite spectacular.
