Defiantely not as good as a 223 with a fast twist Bimbo but I reckon you would be hard pressed to get me to change now.

Tepee James and I had to work for our tally last night with only 1 of the 14 claimed being one of this years pups.

and only 2 responding to the whistle

But we did see 5 on one sheep carcass so maybe a dead sheep call might be the go.

I cannot really talk Joel came over to shoot some rabbits one arvo and that was the first time my 222 had had a trip in a very long time.

Which reminds me Joel I bedded that rifle a couple of weeks ago so maybe you should come out for another session and we will see how it goes,

By the way, maybe you and James could spray yourselves down with Eau-de-sheep carcass, might bring the foxes in a bit closer so you don't have to gut shoot them.

Sounds good Andrew, I just have to sort out a load for the .222 ( yeah I know different projectiles again) with 40gn Nosler Varmegeddons, theyre a shitload cheaper than the BKs and if they shoot alright I'll stock up on em. Put a red dot on the .44 too.... wonder how it goes on foxes with 240gn JHPs????
