Where are you getting Shilen's for under $300, if you don't mind me asking??
Shooters had em unturned blnk 260 and a 24 turned blank was 280 if my memory is okay.

Shilen #3 stainless 20cal (Product #: 186752) for $287 is a bargain! Worth the back-order wait!

Why not ditch 20Practical plans and go 20Tactical instead and build it like originally done ... run the 204Ruger reamer in 0.100" short and shave 0.100" off a set of Lee 204Ruger dies? Seems worth the case trimming and fireforming.
Cheers...

That's for you to research! In essence though it's the use of an existing reamer and modifying an existing die set. Lapua has brass commercially available.

Both Practical and Tactical have dies available from Redding, neither are exactly cheap as I only know of the Comp die sets, do they make a regular 2 die set? That's for you to search out.
Cheers...

That's weird...I can find that barrel when I search by number, but not when I look at the list of 20 cal barrels...and the price is WAY under the normal stainless costs, and even the CM one! Wanted a heavier profile though! :(

Yep ... must be a typo, $329.99 on Midway USA website. Local price is usually just under double.

Anyway, I'm happy - just ordered an 8mm and 375 CM for the next couple of builds....mid-2014 delivery will suit just fine.

Didn't buy local?    The waiting is definitely sometimes a good thing, considered another PacNor, but have x4 Green Mountain blanks to use up first.
