Post by Gnome »

If any one has access to steel plate and can make up 4 of these Steel Walking Flipping shooting Targets.

The dimensions are 8" tall 9" wide and is 1/4" steel.

I would also like 4 in thicker plate say 1/2 - 3/4 thick steel & 12" tall & 18" wide for the larger to magnum cals for a lil medium-long range walking fun :D

I have seen them Gnome and thought about making some. I have some 75mm x 8mm mild (like 5m of) but thought that might be a bit heavy for .22lr but probably ok for small centrefires, not sure how long they would last with the wby mag - be fun to find out though

Gnome

I have the detailed plans for the rimfire version. If you find someone to cut them, I am up for a couple.

Cheers, Jason.

Plasma cutter got a bit of a work out and the 2nd one was definatly a bit neater but I guess they are only going to get shot at.
Chris has some photos of the finished product and is taking 2 away this weekend for some 'testing'. The did however hold up to the power of the Nerf gun so I am pretty sure they will be fine

Going to work on something a bit thicker for use with 20cal and 223's at a little longer ranges

Hey Bimbo, I did junk that plate I had but will get some more for sure. I have also spoken to a friend who said he will do his best to get some thicker plate from his works scrap bin.
