Boyds Gunstocks.

Post by kjd »

Hey guys,

How have you gotten around the $100 limit on Boyds gun stocks? My order (if I decided to do this comes to $144) and they say they wont ship.

I figured someone on here would know how to get around it?

Cheers,
Keith.

Maybe if its unfinished. If you know someone who would buy it for you and then post it privately. Don't really know, all mine have been under the magic 100.

If you are getting accessories like a recoil pad or the likes, order it separately. If your order went over because of engraving or something like that I have no idea. Postage isn't counted as a "cost" so if that's all that sent you over the limit there is nothing to worry about, order it and all will be good.

I've arranged a mate to get it for me in the states and ship it over. But I am undecided as to whether I'll get it or not though!

I'm looking at a Boyds Prairie Hunter for my M38 6.5x55, what has the postage cost worked out at for those on here who have brought from Boyds in the past?

Thanks

I don't know why people are shocked by this? It costs a lot to get things sent to Aus and the stock is only $73 it is CHEAP they probably make a bit of money off shipping but so what where else can you get a high quality stock for under $200AU?

Same $67 postage for me, I'm not too fussed, as has been said, I would have a hard time getting anything cheaper domestically anyway. For those who have got stocks already, how long was the wait for postage to arrive?
