I don't use Sweets anymore as I've developed an intolerance to it.

But when I did use it I found it worked best if I ran the patch in, stopped short of the muzzle and then slowly moved back towards the chamber using vigorous back and forth actions that are only a inch or two long. This really frothed up the Sweets and IMHO Sweets works better when it is oxygenated (ie frothy).

Ditto.
Sweets is definetly more effective when frothing.I use a nylon brush to achieve it.

I recently started using Bore tech eliminator and I am really happy with it.

Will have to get some mate.
I may be putting it into an ACIS stock so won't be as pretty as the normal Sendero.

At the cost of looking like an idiot here, does copper fouling stop?.
I have not long had my tikka and followed the breaking in procedure as directed by the gun shop, which from memory was 1 round clean with hoppes patch out then clean with sweets to remove copper. Do this three times then repeat firing three rounds three times. They recommend this as the usual cleaning process. I read in this post the comment above "So I asked when did it stop copper fouling?" Does copper fouling stop? Or am I taking an unnecessary step in cleaning by using hoppes then sweets after every time I shoot? I probably should have started a new post but wanted to jump on that comment.

What Flip and others have said.
I have a 6br trueflite barrel that will go around 100 rounds without getting a build up to where it effects accuracy.
I have a maddco 22-250AI that does 25. When I was breaking it in after 3 shots it was so full of copper it would take thirty minutes and heaps of patches to stop showing blue, and this was with proof positive gear so no false readings off the jags etc.
So while the copper still fouls it is not as quick to do so and not in as much quanity.
Every barrel is a bit different. But in my opinon (and mate there are lots who don't agree :D   ) the first removal of copper is pretty important, whether you do it after one shot or three or five.
Cheers

Didn't drink it.

Just spent a youth working it hard in metallic silhouette rifle. Today it makes me sick to use.

After a few different bore solvents I am now a firm believer in the Boretech products.

I love sweets especially when used in conjunction with Hydrogen Peroxide.

You guys have it all wrong. It's Acetone you need to mix with Hydrogen Peroxide to REALLY clean the barrel out.
