G'day mate, won't by hydros. I'm not that rich, will be acps, most cals are being released now, I'll probably end up distributing them for the riverina truth be told, if your interested in performance I can email some pics of construction, wound channels, etc, price wise they are about $60 per 50 rather than hydros which are something like 5 or 6 bucks a projie I'm told? Plus you can order these in soft medium or hard so, a varmint soft load, ferals medium load, and maybe you'll get some hydrostatic performance from a hard, although most testers are happy with mediums on all matter of small and medium game, it works wellstinkitup wrote:Haven't seen the 35-284 but my 35 swede AI will pip the whelen so will be almost Identical except the swede is a shorter case and in the AI config should outrun the whelen
How doe those hydrostatic pills go Jacko? I have seen people using them, are you shooting the woodleighs?

Mate go for it, I have looked at that rifle about 5 or 6 times now myself.
Its a good deal - a very good deal.
Get it sent to your dealer of choice via Aust Post.
Living in the NT I always seem to buy rifles from interstate - its not that difficult.

Re: Rifle for NT game and armor plated Sambar
Trouble is the transfer costs at both ends and then postage all adds up where as you can buy the bare rifle for around $650 from a local dealer. I really like the figure in the timber stock though. Also not too sure about the recoil on a 375 H&H and probably shouldn't be spending money on rifles until I have finished building a kitchen and launrdy which will be finished just before Christmas.
Just dunno, too many choices and I can't buy em all

Close your eyes and hit "buy it now".
The extras that come with it are pretty good too.
However, only you can make that choice mate.

Bimbo, if it comes with all the stuff in the photo, its bloody good buying, they would more than make up for any postage/handling costs, probably more. At least put a deposit on it so it takes the temptation away from other poor rifle whores.
