Indeed, but I would say they are tack drivers.

Yeah the would be for sure mate. but I doubt they could outshoot a stock rapier or hw100. Too heavy for my liking too!

He he he, I'd like to see them shoot a couple of hundred pellets offhand in a session with them.

LOL True that!! Even a 40round silhouette match would be interesting with the 16lber

Aaah, yes Gentlemen but here we have specific tools for a special task. Not quite as ugly (in my opinion) as the new precision target rifles that we see advertised. At least these have some real wood to hold and admire, not that cheap, coloured, laminated imitation "wood" found on some rifles today.

I tried shooting a .177 TX200 14 pound FT special like that and wound up with a severe cramp in my left arm after 20 odd shots. I think I'm reasonably strong enough in the arms for an "Olde farte" but that one got to me.
Give me a good timber sporting stock anytime, but a little under 10 pounds will do me.
cheers all,Ray. :o :o

Sheeeeesh, some people just have way too much disposable income and far too much time on their hands. But do they actually shoot those things, or just show them off to their mates of similar ilk. Way OTT for mine.

I find that a sling negates a lot of weight,

The left elbow bears the weight....

No but strangely enough that particular gun that gave me the cramp was dropped in its case by the owner a couple of days after I used it,split the stock and wrecked the scope while in the padded case.
Just goes to show I guess.
