The Rebarrel Worked

Post by MISSED »

Finally got out yesterday afternoon to run the 20 VT in and yes it worked.

No group shooting just a quick run in and line the scope up.

First shot at a live feral

Looks the goods mate, to say I was pissed off after I rang you last nite while I was at work would be an understatement
you had 5 foxes in the light at once I've got to do some rigging work on a dragline bucket. Looking forward to having a shot in September.
You better do the load development for this one mate while I look for a lightweight 20 barrel.

I rang him sometime last night, I think it was after OL55, I had around 60 pair done and was having a feed and coffee, reckons the phone calls cost him a couple of foxes   Wonder how many you would have got if there were no interuptions.

20's rule for me for foxes and cats now. :D

James will correct me but I think it was 7. Max was 258m I did not range it as it was the vixen of a pair and was parallel to the fence and 100m down the hill from where James shot the dog a couple of hours later and I did range that after he shot it.Most would have been around that or a bit less as I left the close ones for the 270

I'll get some more PMC 222 brass to you eventually, ran out of tags for the roo's before I finished off the last of the ammo.
Dropped of the returns and put in for more tags today so bit of luck I might get them shot off before the weekend.
