FWB300 photos

Post by curan »

Hi folks,

As a couple of forum members would already know, I've got a soft spot for FWB rifles, having picked up a FWB124 from Chris L a little while back (that I still love).

Well, I've just picked up an FWB300 to keep it company. I almost grabbed one a while ago, but couldn't justify it at the time. I still don't have a lot of work for this second rifle, but it's in very tidy condition, the price was right, and I couldn't resist it.I got a G&R 4-12x40 that from Lewis a while back, so I think I'll put that on it, and start taking it to shoot 10m every now and then just so it gets some use, and for the sheer joy of using it.

Anyway, for those with a nostalgic streak, here's a few photos of my new addition......

Thanks fellas. It is nice. I just dated it to the second half of 1971, and figure I'm lucky to find a 42 yo rifle in such good condition.

cheers, curan.
