DIY Torch mount

Had a bit of a play around in the shed today and made a functional torch to scope mount. It was a necessary evil as my torch (Led Lenser M14) is too thick for a standard torch mount and Led Lenser don't make a mount for it either.....

So, it consists of some 25mm aluminium flat bar cut and bent around the kids see saw handles add a bolt in the middle and put some chamois on the inside to protect the scope and torch and Bobs ya sister....

Anyway, its not pretty, However it seems to be functional Probably no good for a centre fire but would go well on a 22 or 17HMR I rekon!

That's a great mount and far better (and cheaper) than the one sold for the M7 Led Lenser.

Looks great. I made a set just before my last trip out of a set of remington rings and bases I had sitting around. I just taped the base of both bases together with a load of electrical tape and it was good to go. Only thing I found was that there was no adjustment in it to get the light centred in the scope. I now have a few sets of the velcro jobbies from deal extreme (which turned up at work the day I had left to go on a long weekend of shooting ) and they should do the job nicely. Adjustment will be some bits of foil or electrical tape strategically placed.
