Townsville 1000yd Match - 3 March 2013

Post by albow »

Hi All

Results have been posted for the 1000yd match in Townsville yesterday.

Conditions were a sweltering 33 degrees and 80 - 100% humidity which according to weather zone made it feel like 39 degrees :) The fluctuations in the humidity made it tough and when it got to 100% there was rain for the last two details of the day which although it cooled it down quite a bit it introduced some tough conditions with unexplained vertical in groups.

Great news is we had a new shooter turn up to have a go with his 308 Win and based on his reaction, he will be back next match to try again.

Overall for the day Eric G did well with a fine day agg win of 5.390" score agg was a close win for myself on 95.1 and small group of the day went to Tony Z with a 4.191"
