Re: I'm gonna buy a Hummer
I handled the savage, marlin and the CZ. I liked the feel of the CZ and the ability to change the barrel out for a 22lr as I don't have one and keep borrowing my father in laws 452.
Thanks for the advice guys.

Maaaaate, please dont give in to common sense, you have a ready made excuse to get two rifles, those swap barrel jobs wont last, just imagine you can get two rifles, two scopes, different ammo, two gun bags, slings, the list goes on. Go-on you know you really want two. Or three if you include 22 mag.

Holy S#%t Camel you're right!
I'm still gonna get the 455, I love the feel of it. Now I can start thinking about a 22lr.

Re: I'm gonna buy a Hummer
I did the combo thing with my 455, and added a .22 Magnum barrel for it later. So far, it's been a lot of fun, but I haven't messed around with either magnum barrel much. I still have a traincar load of different .22LR ammo to try out, before dinking around with the others.
I've had a Marlin .17HMR since 2002, so this one is sort of an extra toy. I know how good the HMR is, this one's more for show than go. That old cheap Marlin has shot a 1/4" group at 100 yards, but more regularly it's about .6" or so. It's my "lucky" rifle, every time I carry it afield, I see something that need killing.
I'm hoping the CZ turns into the same kind of "lucky rifle".

Bugger resighting and faffing around. All this switch barrel Euro nonsense.
Just get a rifle in each cal.
