gamo shadow blooded

Post by andy303 »

G,day guys this last week my wife said she saw a family of young rats running around our back garden which horrified my wife ,i thought great! time to test the gamo shadow on these intruders, but the only problem was that they were very scitterish I had 2x shots at them and i am sure i parted the hair between there ears well tonight luck was on my side and i nailed this one at about 8 metres using H&N Baracuda 10.6gns in 177 ,one less rat to worry about cheers Andy (click link to see photo, i had trouble reducing size for some reason )

well done!

Mind you, at 8m, not bad for a clear shot on a skitterish target. First to get the shot, then to make it.

cheers, curan.

thanks curan they were running from under a decking onto the lawn via our garden bed (lots of cover)and they were stealing the bread my wife puts out for the birds, they would emerge from the deck and run till they got to the bread and they would grab a piece and run back to the deck and disappear i missed several chances to fire by not being quick enough, but then i got lucky !cheers Andy

Good shooting, there. They can be little buggers to hit, can't they?
