FX Royale 500

Post by Ackley Improved »

Picked up this airgun a few weeks back. Not done much with it due to waiting for the mounts to arrive. Dovetail to weaver riser. The airgun package came with a scope, but the S&B was sitting in the safe doing nothing and it focuses down to real close so why not!! Brings the weight of the airgun right up!!!

I have only sighted in roughly, not shot for group yet but 25cal is nice! At 25m and on low power it went through both coke can and 2ltr milk bottle both full of water! Impressive!! Filling is nice, as too is the fill adapter. Magazines easy to deal with.

Hopefully next couple days will test it out for accuracy and knock a few bunnies over.

Yesterday arvo into evening the Royale claimed 8 bunnies and 3 starlings. Furthest hit on bunny 77m. This airgun is pretty handy, and 25cal hits a hell of a lot harder than the 22cal. The only downside to this airgun is its shear size. It is not heavy but just large. Its pretty quiet too!

This could be a new love affair!

Cheers

Out of a .25 Cal I think I could live with that, especially in some of my pest removal situations,

Enjoy your .25 Cal Xmas mate. :D :D

I had a shot of a FX Royal yesterday in 22 and I can see why everyone loves them. Very accurate..those smooth twist barrels sure are good.
And very quite. Enjoy..

G"day All,
Ive seen and shot two of the FX royale's , both in .22cal and I must say they are the quietest PCP ive ever not heard.!!!
It unbelievable how quiet they are.
Never got a chance to really run them thru their paces at any distance to check accuracy but im sure they would hold their own.
Regards
