My trusty (and rusty) LN65 Hilux slug of an engine the old 2L but so simple. Redneck Snorkel on it cost me $50 as opposed to $465 for an aftermarket one. Here she is having some playtime after work in Katherine
Re: Show us your rig!
My first ute, a hilux.
It has a 114 litre long range tank, denco diesel turbo kit, extended diff breathers, extended greasable shackles, Tough dog suspension, Warne Winch, IPF headlight assemblies and wiring loom, Hella Rallye 4000 100 watt hid driving lights, redarc dual battery setup, ARB under bonnet compressor, ARB rear diff locker, Roof Console, Although not shown in these older pics, now rolls on Kelly safari TSR tyres, has 2 Scalar aerials, one for my UHF and repeater channels, and the other for my phone car kit.
I think i've done well for my first ute
Cheers,
Jackson.

Hey mate, should last you a while, good looking ute.
Re: Show us your rig!
Thanks mate, i really like it Been saving for a fair while and i thought i'd buy something i liked, it had about 140k on it when i got it, and i re-did the top end with my uncle (a mechanic), so its pretty fresh now, and plenty of life left in her, but i have to change the shocks and leafs out, too bloody rough! going to rattle the car to bits if i don't, a bit later this year, hopefully it'll take me up to visit a few friends in the top endCamel wrote:Hey mate, should last you a while, good looking ute.

Re: Show us your rig!
Here is my trusty hilux complete with massive powerhouse of a 2.8L diesel. She is slow but goes anywhere. I have gradually been doing little bits and pieces to tidy her up but here are a few old photos I have of her.
Drove out of that by the way
I am also in the process of building a new car - dual cab hilux of the same era but will be a little more um 'unique' - unfortunatly it will have to be registed as a nissan patrol but you get that
Cheers
James
