G'day all,
just wanted to ask the question"who's coming to Townsville in July" :D . i know we are a little off the betten track up here but the prises on offer are fantastic and you could win enough to pay for your trip :P , i don't know of any other shoot that offers so much in Australia.

It would be great to meet some of you guys and see what you're shooting, i know you will have a great time, there's three days of shooting (4-including the practice on Friday) and i'm sure there'll be a beer or two floating around hell, we may even feed you as well. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

If you are planning the trip give aJR a yell and he can give you all the info you need, so come on guys, come up for what I think is the bigest (long range) shoot in Australia, I garrrenteeee you'll have a good time.

I'm backin' BlackPete up and tellin' y'all to get ya happy butts up here. No floodin' (at present), the shit weather has gone (9 - 22 degrees today) the sun is shinin', an' I want y'all to come up hiyar an' have a good ol' time.
As BlackPete said, there's lots to do, a pretty good range to shoot on, an' some very strange blokes to talk to. Good prizes on the table, an' proper beer tyo drink if y'all have a mind to do that too.
Oh, an' give the missus a holiday in the sun an' teach us how to shoot.
C'mon!

Would love to be there but will be lucky to make Brisbane in November as it stands.

I am going to make it one day ... still planning that day.

Hi Rinso,
no worries mate, if you are planning a trip up this way aim for July, this is our biggest shoot and you could win a rifle just for entering.

Re aJR, i'm lucky as Jeff shoots heavy gun and i shoot light :lol: but i can tell you that in the end even that is no comfort with the likes of E.G, AL, Bob N, Bob L around.

All these blokes can shoot and the only way i can get a look in is if they have an equipment failure on the day :wink: :wink: , makes for good competition though and shooting with them helps me heaps.

I had hoped to get up that way for the shoot but things have just not panned out like they were supposed too unfortunately...
