Thanx mate. I was using 26gr 2206 with 50gr nosler BT's and the accuracy was good but the pressure signs were too high. To get a safe working load I had to drop back almost a full grain which has thrown the accuracy out the window.

Ive heard BM2 was the target shooters choice so I'll give that a go next. Im also hoping to try some heavier pills to take advantage of the twist.

The matchkings seem to be a good compromise between price and performance so Im looking forward to giving them a go.

Try the 69 MK's. Would be the best weight for your twist I think! The little 52's are a very good projectile though..

Cheers

Lowndsie, try 26.5g of 2208 with your nos b/t's if you've any left, as accurate as the sierra's in my Howa.
Regards Alpal.

G'Day All,
I have a 1:8" twist tru-flight barrel 26" long, two loads that shot great

25.0gns 2208 with 75gn Amax (moly) with 0.005" jump

25.2 gns 2208 with 80gn sierra MK (moly) seated into the lands

both used in Fclass (open) with CCI 450 small mag primers.

My Brother uses 23.5 BM1 with Fed 205M pimers and Sierra 53MK (moly) in his factory Rem700VLS 26" barrel.

Cheerio Ned
