I have an Artemis 2000 3-12x50 - base model Meopta but it is a pretty good scope. Very clear and the bright, good edge to edge definition. No paralax adjustment so not so good for close shots as a little blurry under about 70 metres. Typical Euro style scope - fairly big for focal range, 30mm tube, click style hunting turrents FFP heavy duplex reticle. I think the Meopta range is good value - if you don't mind a bit of weight compared to a US type scope.

I've had a couple of Meopta's on some review rifles Winchester sent me. They seemed to be very good.

I went to Clayton Firearms today with the intention of bringing home a 6-18x50 Meopro. Their website has them advertised at around $560. The dude behind the counter said they don't have any, and haven't had any for 12 months.

A bit disappointed, as I had driven down from western Victoria (sure, for another reason), and had been expecting to take one home with me for my .22-250.

you shouldnt be buying a scope here unless you cant import it or there is a special that beats landed price from likes of TOZ or Cameraland etc

Missed, could you give us a report once you've used it a bit? Especially if you take it spotlighting.

Hey Missed, how have you gone securing your scope? I ask as three different gunshops have told me that there hasn't been any stock on this particular scope for the last 2 years...........................
