FX Revolution initial test

Post by Ol 55 »

The January break has gone time to test my new toy. Set the scope up learned how to load the revolving mag set a large cardboard at 25yds first shot low right by bout 4'' calculate how many clicks fire another shot about half way, mm shooting 25yds not 50 so move the same amount again and into the bottom of a black patch fire 2 more and roughly through the same hole, move the target to 50yds fire one goes about 3.5'' low move the scope and easily puts 5 into the patch off a bench that could be discribed as very unstable. Try some other pellets and don't shoot any good but my air supply is low, I ring the dive shop that has my tank for test and it is not ready yet after some deliberation I decide to take my rifle to Newcastle [about 45min] to see if I can get it filled. Yep no worries helpfull young lady let me fill it up so atleast if I get the chance I have air. Yesterday went to to local range to shoot a couple of other projects I have on the go 20 PPC and 22 BR so took the FX with me as the benches are 4'' concrete and a wee bit more stable than the other one I shot off. Had to get permission and suppervision to load the magazine. shot a few groups at 50yds and with all pellets touching or very close, I am one very happy old boy and there was some very surprised people looking on. While I was at the range had a missed call from the dive shop so hopefully my tank is ready.
All I need to do now is learn to post pics onto this site.
