On the last trip I took this pic of my Sako M591 22 250 rem
I have a Leupold VX 2 6-18 x 40 And every thing else is s I bought it 11years ago second hand. the trigger had been tricked up by the previous owner and man is it good. This is my favorite rifle, all be it a bit loud
I took the picture with the camp fire behind me showing off the stock a bit. In natural light the stock is very dark but at times like this you can see the nice grain in it,
The fox was taken at 253 meter from the back of the ute.

For trades and repair in the shop. What some people do to a Sako should be a crime.
Saying that when I see an unloved Sako I start computing in my head how many hours work required in the stock and how much a re blue and new barrel are going to cost to decide if I should buy it myself or let the boss trade it in the shop.
