My FX is at the gun shop for me to pick up I have the manual and it does not mention any pre shoot regime so what should I do?
Has anyone got some 22 cal cleaning pellets as I figure this would be a minimum to do?
If it was a centre fire or shotgun I would be ok

A little better way to do a new AG barrel clean is to make your own pull through.Ol 55 wrote:My FX is at the gun shop for me to pick up I have the manual and it does not mention any pre shoot regime so what should I do?

Use a length of nylon fishing line make a loop in it and slide it into your barrel at the muzzle end,
put a thin strip of cleaning patch material in the loop at the breech end and pull it gently back through.
do this as many times with a clean patch as you see fit.
This usually clears whatever factory preservative/oil etc. Don't be tempted to use a cleaning rod as some of the AG barrel steel can be
a little softer than you would think with the obvious results.
Enjoy your FX.they shoot great.
Ray.

Ol55 Just drop it round at Mulbring, I'll make sure it's run in proper and in a few years I drop it off
Should be good to see what groups it puts down enjoy it.

Ol55,
What FX are you getting? I am after Gladiator double air when one comes up. My Cyclone is a great rifle.
