I would like to be the first to congratualate SSAA on being voted as the 30th member of the World Field Target Federation.
Having a voice, and being recognised as a representative body are important parts of growing the FT discipline globally. Australia now have the opportunity to speak and be heard, help develop new comprehensive rules, decide amendments, and host World events.
FT has to be one of the most challenging shooting sports IMHO, and becomes addictive once you get the right mindset and equipment. I hope to meet and welcome many Australian shooters to our shores through this avenue over the next few years, and attend in your backyard too.
New Zealand are very pleased to have our nearest neighbour now officially involved with Air Rifle Field Target shooting on the World stage.
Best wishes for the Christmas Season,
have a laid back New Year, and welcome to WFTF.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS IN ORDER.
Hi GS,
Thanks for the update and welcome!
It may take a little while for FT to filter through to my neck of the woods, but I have the basic elements of kit to give it a try when it arrives. I reckon RayG and other airgunners at Para would have even better kit than me to give it a go, so you never know, I may get to shoot it at Para one day.
Merry Christmas to you, and all our Kiwi brethren.
Oh, and congrats on your nations sporting achievements throughout the year - cricket, rugby, etc. Well done.
But the World Scrabble Championships? Is it true an old rule lets Kiwis use any vowel they like?
regards, curan
