OK close range 28 yards 25 metres+
But Hornet's power wound back below 20 fpe at 740 fps with 15.9 gr JSB Exacts straight from the tin:
5 shots;
Here is how they landed: If you watch carefully # 3 shot you will see the lead dust drift away to the right of the target (also # 5 shot) . Backing plate is lead from old pellets.
Turn up the volume.

Sight needs an adjustment tweak though. Leupold Vari 11 on 12 power.
There wasn't enough light on this dull and rainy day for slow motion pellet tracking.
Kind regards, Harry.

Nice video Harry thanks for sharing, that thing sure does shoot. I just showed it to my missus and all she said was "make mine shoot like that!" Hers is a Hornet in .177.

If you haven't already, buy her a tin of JSB Exact Heavy.uncakikki wrote:....... showed it to my missus and all she said was "make mine shoot like that!" Hers is a Hornet in .177.
I have a hornet in .177, and if your wife's hornet shoots like mine, and she has the skill, it will shoot very much the same results in the right conditions.....

I actually got some for her a while back but it seems to prefer "kodiaks/barracudas" but when I tested them the day wasn't all that flash, so I am planning on giving them another try.curan wrote:If you haven't already, buy her a tin of JSB Exact Heavy.uncakikki wrote:....... showed it to my missus and all she said was "make mine shoot like that!" Definitely worth another look. Lewis put me onto them, and I haven't regretted it.uncakikki wrote:...... I am planning on giving them another try.
